Funcom sends word that they've signed a co-publishing agreement with SCi/Eidos for their new MMORPG, Age of Conan: Hyborean Adventures. |
I've yet to see any really well-implemented mounted combat or siege warfare in a MMORPG, so like a lot of people, I'm looking forward to Age of Conan: Hyborean Adventures. Shacknews has posted an interview with Funcom's Gaute Godager where he talks about the combat system, AI, using formations, and sieging cities. "To get through, into a city, you must take down its walls first. You cannot fly, teleport or jump into it. |
Accommodations are rather rustic, a throwback to a more primitive past of thatched huts and smoky campfires. What did you expect, the Queen Elizabeth II? Although, with the wildlife, marauders, and evil, any rest you can grab is only temporary. |
The update has a lot of content that fans of the game will undoubtedly enjoy. For example, the Sanctum of the Burning Sands section contains not only the lore of the location but screenshots and videos of the area. |
New features will also come to the site. The most exciting is the RSS Feedback System which will better facilitate interaction between Funcom and the Age of Conan community. Each community site is bound to get one to accommodate everyone. Surveys will also be conducted more frequently to know the pulse of the user base. |
Funcom and Eidos recently announced some big numbers for fans of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. According to a recent press release the two companies sent out, Age of Conan has surpassed 1 million beta signups, showing that quite a large amount of interest has been generated for this game. |
